Meet your Youth Ambassadors

Must be a current ATOA Youth Member, typically aged 8–18 (or per ATOA Youth Committee guidelines). The candidate should demonstrate a keen interest in horses and leadership, as well as a commitment to ATOA programs, including equine education resources. Additionally, they must show a willingness to represent ATOA positively and professionally as part of our youth ambassador program focused on youth horse programs.

Youth Ambassador

As part of the youth ambassador program, represent ATOA at shows, events, clinics, and outreach activities. Assist in developing youth horse programs, educational content, and promotions that focus on equine education resources. Promote ATOA through social media (with parental approval) and support initiatives from the Youth Committee and special projects. Engage in meetings, workshops, and leadership development activities while acting as role models for other youth members.

Online Education Resources for Youth (Ages 8–18)

ATOA offers engaging equine education resources specifically crafted for youth ages 8 to 18. These materials are designed to help young members develop their skills, expand their understanding of horses, and establish a solid foundation within the equine industry.

Educational topics encompass all aspects of horses, including basic horse knowledge, health and care, history, and industry fundamentals. These leading resources are structured to support learning at various age levels, allowing youth to progress as their knowledge and experience grow.

Through these educational opportunities, including our youth ambassador program and youth horse programs, ATOA is dedicated to developing informed, responsible, and confident young horsemen and horsewomen—preparing them to become future leaders in the Paint Horse industry and beyond.

ATOA is dedicated to making learning enjoyable while fostering active participation within the Paint Horse community. Youth Scholarships

ATOA Youth Scholarships are designed to support educational goals while recognizing commitment to horsemanship, leadership, and community involvement. These scholarships not only promote participation in youth horse programs but also acknowledge the importance of developing skills that are vital in the equestrian world.

Scholarships may be awarded based on:

- Participation in ATOA programs and events

- Leadership involvement, including service in the youth ambassador program

- Academic achievement and personal goals

- Sportsmanship, responsibility, and character

Scholarship funds may be used for:

- College, trade school, or continuing education

- Equine education resources and programs, including clinics

- Approved youth development activities

Year-End Youth Awards

ATOA Year-End Youth Awards recognize outstanding achievement and participation throughout the competition and program year, celebrating individuals who excel in youth horse programs.
