The American Tobiano Overo Association (ATOA) is a legally formed Limited Liability Company (LLC) in the State of Michigan. We operate as an independent Paint horse registry and association dedicated to preserving and promoting Tobiano and Overo bloodlines.

ATOA provides:

• Horse registration and documented pedigrees
• The Open Show Award Program (OSAP)
• Breeder incentive programs (including the Breeders Legacy Program)
• Approved judges and show participation opportunities
• Youth and educational program development

ATOA maintains structured registration requirements:

• Verified owner authorization is required for all registrations
• Documented records are maintained for each horse
• Registry processes are handled by authorized personnel only

Following a recent isolated administrative issue, additional safeguards have been implemented to further strengthen verification and oversight.

ATOA was founded to:
