Join a Local ATOA Club

 An ATOA Charter Club is a locally or regionally organized group that operates under the umbrella of the American Tobiano Overo Association (ATOA). Charter Clubs help grow ATOA at the grassroots level by promoting Paint Horses, encouraging membership, supporting education, and building community involvement. 

Benefits of Joining

 

Charter Clubs are established to:

  • Promote the mission and programs of ATOA
     
  • Support breeders, owners, competitors, and youth
     
  • Encourage education, ethical horsemanship, and stewardship
     
  • Expand ATOA’s visibility at the local and regional level
     
  • Provide leadership opportunities for ATOA members
     

Become a Club Leader

 To apply for an ATOA Charter Club, you must have:

  • A minimum of five (5) ATOA members in good standing
     
  • At least three (3) adult members (18 years or older)
     
  • A basic officer structure in place
     
  • Willingness to operate in alignment with ATOA bylaws and policies

Club Duties

 

Charter Clubs are expected to:

  • Promote ATOA membership and programs
     
  • Operate ethically and professionally
     
  • Maintain accurate records and transparent finances
     
  • Hold meetings (in person or virtual)
     
  • Submit officer updates and required reports
     
  • Follow ATOA branding and conduct guidelines
